Tohuto is based in Tallinn and was founded in 2016 by Kärt Maran.
Tohuto offers a range of minimalist jewellery in high quality materials – sterling silver, gold and anodized titanium. When it comes to surface finishes and visual effects – gradient gold plating and electric shades of anodized titanium are just a few keywords to start with. The jewellery is kept lightweight and only body friendly materials are used.

Kärt Maran
Kärt Maran, the founder and designer at Tohuto, has graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts from the departments of Jewellery and Blacksmithing and Product Design. She works as a jewellery designer, curator and exhibition designer. In 2009 Maran curated the 5th Tallinn Applied Art Triennial and has designed over 20 natural science exhibitions. Since 1998 Maran has participated in several art and design exhibitions in Estonia and abroad, her works are part of the Estonian Applied Arts and Design Museum permanent exhibition.
